      Hi there!

I was trying to check out the FT10 thing on antiX. Looked pretty good, and didn’t think anything of it.

Until I went into anitX forum soon after. I couldn’t post anything! I took a screenshot of the 403 Forbidden sort of message I got from that.

But all seems good now once I rebooted.

I’m guessing that maybe installing FT10 and then playing with shortly before logging on to antiX forum was responsible.

But when I rebooted the computer, all seems to be back to normal.

Just thought I’d mention it in case there is some sort of bug that crops up with FT10 and/or Synaptic that affects one using the antiX Forum.

What have the Romans ever done for us?
Apart from: sanitation, medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, fresh water, and public health?

        It happened again!

But this time; I was trying to follow up this topic I started (https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/pomodoro-timer-recommendation-for-antix/).

When I tried to quote and/or past text into the reply window, I got that same Forbidden 403 message.

Don’t know if that one post is a problem or not. But, again, just thought I’d mention it in case I stumbled on to some sort of antiX Forum and/or WordPress bug.

I believe, there shouldn’t be any connection between PPCs FT10 and the message you see in Forum.

We all do see and knwo this very message very well, it originates from the free wordfence board protection software which seems to go mad sometimes. It’s triggered by some expression within your posting, and sometimes you won’t even figure what actually triggered it. Mostly some trivial equal sign, greater/lesser sign or whatever.

But simply wait for PPC to say something about whether he sees any possible connection between FT10 and this issue (I can’t think of any connection, I guess this is an arbitrary coincidence merely you face here.)

Windows is like a submarine. Open a window and serious problems will start.

            Thanks for that, Robin.

At least I know it’s not just me (or my meds!).

I panicked a wee bit because I’ve never seen that one happen before in the forums.

BTW; I agree 100% with your signature statement!

              Post-Script
It happened to me again when quoting a message.

But when I removed the part of the quoted text that included the HTML code for that Helpful arrow thing, it seemed to work fine.

Just thought I’d mention it in case including the helpful arrow business in a quote seems to cause this problem.
