::Earlier today I had out my Lenovo X201 laptop (2011) and I was running antiX 21 runit edition.
It works well but there’s a sharp difference in performance between that system and this one.
Maybe if I put an SSD in the Lenovo that would help; I did that in the Dell Inspiron 5558 and it definitely helped!--

::When I posted the note earlier, I was on a live instance of Slitaz. The iso file was only 57 Mb size, which easily fits on this very old 62 Mb USB drive. I was also testing to see if I can post using the lynx text browser. Apparently it works great.

::I am loving being able to use elinks to post to the forum! This opens up the forum to basically any old computer that still runs. (It did not work with text-based browsers, whenever I would try it, up until very recently.)

I haven’t used Slitaz recently but I have used it many times in the past.

::@calciumsodium: and @matheus: Both of you have older versions of inxi.
I’m running on EndeavourOS at the moment and it has the latest 3.3.19 stable version of inxi.
https://github.com/smxi/inxi has the most current version.
Alternatively you can edit the file /etc/inxi.conf and set the variable to true, then inxi -U will update inxi to whatever is current.
Here’s what mine shows:

::I have a correction to make too. I can actually BOOT antiX 21 runit Base X64 edition on my Acer Aspire 5.
The issue is that it doesn’t recognize the wireless card; that means my usage is limited, not that it won’t work at all.
In fact, I’m here with cousin MX Linux, this time running off a live USB and it works WITH wireless networking.Like several other distributions, this one doesn’t automatically update inxi, but I edited /etc/inxi.conf, set
B_ALLOW_UPDATE=’true’and all is well:
