::I’m back on my Dell Inspiron 5558, so I’ll be able to get back on antiX. At the moment, I just finished updating MX Linux. In the listing it shows that I am running the 5.18.0-10.1-liquorix-amd64 kernel; my update just installed the 5.18.0-11.1-liquorix-amd64 kernel. I’ll be getting back to antiX shortly.

::One other thing worth noting: some people have reported that we aren’t consistently receiving Email updates when we turn on notifications. I almost always explicitly turn on notifications and the most recent ones I received were on July 2. I will say, at least this week, that overall forum performance has improved. If we have to sacrifice Email notifications in order to experience this forum performance improvement while maintaining control over spam and intrusion activity, I’m “all in” and supportive of this change!

::For those of you who are using a release of antiX OLDER than antiX 21, is it because 21 is unable to support the hardware on your system, or are there other reasons?
All of the systems I have, dating from the mid 2000 years to around 2015-16, ALL function with antiX 21 runit Base, including the system I’m using now, a very capable Lemovo X201 laptop from 2011.
For the FIRST time since I started using Linux I have one computer that has difficulty working with anything other than the most current Linux hardware support. That’s probably because I previously obtained “mainstream systems” that typically used common parts that were very well supported; I really didn’t review the degree of hardware support on my most current computer; here is a project that MAY help with improved hardware support:

::I ran the same probe on a couple of my working distributions, so here is another probe of that system for PCLinuxOS:
