So far today I’ve used the @techore aXd respin of antiX 23.1 run it and the @calciumsodium respin of antiX 23.1 sysVinit. Both are very efficient and lean.

I’m using a proprietary system with a Linux kernel at the moment, my Acer Chromebook 715 with Google Chrome. Just updated it, so I’ll be returning to my HP-14 shortly to complete the updates; more than likely I’ll be visiting the excellent @ProwlerGr init-diversity image next. On top of the already great collection of images supported in antiX the additional spins and respins are like sweet frosting on a fine pastry; excellent distribution with many great respins – ALL of my partitions on my HP-14 are full of antiX versions and respins; same is true on my Dell Inspiron 5558.

As you can see above, I’ve run two instances of my ISO Snapshot; in between the two, I ran my primary antiX 23.1 Full Runit instance on my HP-14 laptop, ran ISO Snapshot, then Live USB Maker, and rewrote the snapshot image on the media; using it now.

                Looks good!

I created another ISO Snapshot from my Dell Inspiron 5558 and tried it there, and now I’m trying it out on my older Lenovo X201 and it’s running well here.

I updated ONE more Flash Drive with the ISO Snapshot I made today.

I’ve mentioned COUNTLESS times that I practice what I recommend:
                            — have a backup and recovery strategy, put it in place, test
it, verify it, and backup! I back up the back up, who knows
when one or more of them will break?

I updated multiple systems too; again, part of the extended
backup strategy I use; it is not necessary to do it the way
that I do it; just make sure that you have your own backup
and recovery strategy, and DO test what you create as well
                            as make copies!

                            Here’s my latest:
