::So when I installed Emacs, that did it; xscreensaver also had it, so I got rid of both of them!
I used to use GNU Emacs a LOT in the past, but I hardly ever use it any more; same with xscreensaver, so they’re oughta’ here!

::I’m literally using my Acer Chromebook 715 with Chrome OS for a few minutes, then I’ll go back to the HP-14.
One thing that Chrome OS, specifically designed to run on certain systems, has in common with antiX is that both are light and efficient.
Of course one thing that is never in common is that antiX is the opposite of Google in every other way.At least consumers have the choice of 100% free with commercial or non commercial software, and proprietary with consumer software.
I believe that all choices are legitimate and that’s why I continue to use a variety of different freedoms in the things I do.Naturally I continue to spend the majority of time on antiX and other Linux distributions; they’ve been my favorites ever since I
purchased my very first personal computer system in 1995. Even then, I had been tracking Linux developments until I decided to
get my own system and gain personal experience. My MULTICS and UNIX adventures date all the way back to 1982.--

::I now have an early 6.2 kernel, a couple of late 6.1 kernels and the antiX 6.1.11 kernel on my HP-14. I’m using the Kernel: 6.2.1-x64v3-xanmod1 now, I’ve extensively tested the antiX 6.1.11 kernel (it’s very stable and manages memory use well). The most recent Liquorix kernel hasn’t been tried yet. I’ve only had one issue with a Liquorix kernel in it’s entire history and the developer quickly resolved that issue; I’m not anticipating many, if any, issues there, but I’ll check out my most recent version before moving on.
