::Notice !1498 above?
That’s how to recall line 1498 of the bash command history for those unfamiliar with this technique.
So I ran the command
$ history
and then I saw the line I wanted to use again in my 1498 line of saved history. The exclamation recalls the command line number
that follows it and executes it within the shell; in my case, it was sudo ps_mem.py;pinxi -v3--

::Was on the Dell E4310 antiX 22 laptop earlier today. Now here on the Dell Chromebook with antiX 22.
Lazy day for me.Adding bluetooth to group memberships on this chromebook and rebooting did nothing for all the traceback errors for bluetooth-applet startup .
was worth a shot I guess.
harry@antix1:~ $ groups harry lp dialout cdrom floppy sudo audio dip video plugdev users netdev bluetooth lpadmin scannerInternal Bluetooth chip on the other Dell Conventional laptop works OK OTB even though I had not added bluetooth to groups.
But added bluetooth to groups anyways . Still works.Like I said. Lazy Day.

$ sudo !!Great reminder!
I first saw that a long time ago.
I have so many alias commands and custom stuff for reusing command history that I have not made good use of this shortcut.I’ll use it with the Beta 2 test, hopefully soon.

::I’m here again with antiX 23 Beta 1; I was getting inconsistent network connections for a while but they’re better now. It makes me think that the issue was probably local and environmental. Things have gone well today and I’m happy with antiX 23 efforts; spent some time with the package installer and it worked flawlessly today.

::By the way, since I multi-boot most of my systems, it’s very easy to get my collection of tools back.
But even without the multi-boot I also have a few things carefully placed in strategic locations
so that I can also recall shell config files, bookmarks, stuff like that equally quickly in the
case of a rebuild.It helps when we have a “bag of tricks”, that is, a set of procedures we can utilize to customize
and configure without the necessity of a day long process.--
