      I enjoy using deadbeef to play my flac files and was wondering why it’s not offered any longer. I generally don’t like to download software from outside sources, but if I grab it from sourceforge will it compromise my system. somewhere down the line during an upgrade?

      I use audacious, which is fine, occasionally even moc, but deadbeef remains a favorite of mine.

        there are stretch versions at the deb-multimedia repo.

          Thanks oracle, I was going to download a .deb from sourceforge, but grabbed it from the Debian multimedia repo you suggested.
