antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

I am a RETIRED Truck Driver (Lorry) who had also taught high school at some point. I spend my time helping others learn how to maintain their computers and convince many to try Linux in some form. A lot of the older machines I have helped with have antix on them.

I also experiment with Amateur Radio working in the Gigahertz area attempting to develop “sub-space communication”. [Right now we are limited to about 5000 miles (some 8045 kilometers) for real-time communications, but many have used “Moon bounce” to make long distance communication with lots of waiting between signals.] Also, I am involved as Editor of our local Amateur Radio Club’s newsletter.

Special note: Many Amateur Radio operators use Linux on their computers in some form for a variety of programs from tracking calls to databases to radio control. Most just want a program that works, and are not interested in how or why or if they can fix it themselves.
