Nice work with the bike and the music!

I have to confess that I am not familiar with the bike model, but you’ve done some really nice work with it.
For a geek who’s not very with it on open air motor vehicles, please tell me some more about the equipment you have – and I’m guessing that you may have more than one somewhere!

I used to work with a guy in New Hampshire and as many months of the year as possible he rode into work.
He had Suzuki models and a variety of others right up to a rather beefy Harley model. He used to call his “smaller” Suzuki, which STILL had a sizable 650 cc power his “ricer” – jargon for the Asian origin of that particular vehicle.

At the time his “auto” was a Pontiac Fiero, which like a Corvette was mostly fiberglass body construction. That one he called the “Fire-ro”, a pun on the “safety” or lack of safety of several domestic automobiles of that era.

Even though I’m out of touch and very out of date on both auto and motorcycle technology, at one time I followed auto technology a lot closer than I do now. I know very little about cycles, but three of my brother in laws each own vehicles and I believe they are all highway bikes. The one nearby has a big Honda – I think it’s a GoldWing. The one in Ohio has a large, recent vintage Indian (similar to the kind you might see in a holiday parade), and the one in Colorado I think still owns a big Harley – I don’t know the exact models for any of them, so you can *try* to educate me; I’ll try to pay attention.

At least I like what you are doing with your vehicle and I hope you get to use it a lot now that the weather is decent – we’re practically in Summer, with the official day only a few weeks away. Compared to Michigan, I’ve been living in summer-like weather in South Carolina for months! Thanks for sharing a few of your other interests with us Roki!

Well. Since I posted. Wife brought me back down to earth with her car battery being dead

So First. Music appropriate for my situation presently

As far as my life choices. Been doing this sort of thing since the early 1970’s. Yep. I watched Easy Rider at the drive in movies when it came out with SuperFly

So. Instead of being a cocaine dealer. I chose the other lifestyle.

I had my own shop with a pardner in El Paso Texas back in the 90’s. Be-hind Rod and Wheels bar. A big nightclub in El Paso Texas.
I have everything Brian from Hardtail Yamaha XS 650, Kawasaki Concours that I plan to mad max out. The cushman mini truck is my glorified wheel barrow.

I have everything from paint gear. mig welder, sand blaster, toolboxes, torches, plus the shop.
Heaven on earth for a guy like me. If it has wheels. I can usually fix it and make it look nice.
That is why I grin inside a lot when the folks on the web thinks I am a geek or nerd.
GED was as far as I got. In the Job Corp. Then on to fixing Heicopters in the military.
Then punched time clock as a industrial licensed electrician till Hasbro moved to China.

Now? Off to search online, on how to remove that top cover on the battery so I can replace the wifes battery and go back to my stuff.

Sometimes I drive a crooked road to get my mind straight.

Yeah, they were really getting emotional over the entire experience. I stopped for the moment, but I’ll have to go back – sounded like some pretty awesome guitar work to go along with the rest of the music!

Master piece :):) eric vloeimans and pianist jeroen van der vliet

Thanks for sharing this. I recently read an article that suggested that modern jazz was virtually killed, and that it was mostly the “smooth jazz” sound and the musicians that flirted with pop music that led to this happening.

In response to what that article said, I can only respond that if groups like this one are still alive and well, ten years later, true jazz is NOT gone, it may simply not be the music that the majority of people listen to. I think this work is GREAT and I checked out a few other tunes. Eric Vloeimans and pianist Jeroen Van der Vliet are superb. Too bad I haven’t heard of them before, but I’ll certainly add them to my listening list! Thanks so much for sharing!
