Hi! First time antiX user here.
Just installed antiX-base on an old acer laptop. Chose that version so it would fit on a CD.
I would like to install Gimp, libre office & other things. I see that the debian repos are disabled by default on synaptic.
Is it safe to enable them? Which repos will I need to enable? There are quite a few listed in synaptic.
Also, I see there is an “install codecs” option in the system tools section. Will that install everything I’ll need for videos, music etc?
Thanks for your help
the debian repos should still be enabled. if you chose installation defaults, debian testing repos should be disabled and the stable ones enabled.
