Hi,
Two (naive) thoughts:
1. The developer of AVLinux based the current version on MXLinux. Even if the distro doesn’t have tools that enable you to complete your task, the developer might offer you some expert advice.
2. Pipewire was originally conceived as a “Pulseaudio Video” package and is supposed to be both a sound and video server. Although not a video editor, is it possible that some of the editing might work better on a system running that rather than Pulseaudio or alsa alone?
