Hello again. I wanted to ask a somewhat trivial question.
Only that they generate me doubts. We know that in Linux there are many distributions and some are created by certain programmers from a single country (no need to give names). I was struck by “Grup Yorum”. What language is?
I looked it up in the translator and he told me he was Turkish.
Is this so? Are the creators of AntiX Linux Turkish?I have no problem with anyone, I just wanted to know out of curiosity from which country (if it is from a single country) AntiX was created.
Perhaps it is a collaboration of several programmers from different countries.
Anyway. The distribution is great, I am very satisfied, but it gave me that question.Greetings.

::I small dive into search engines would uncover that antiX is a Greek distro. Long story short, anticapitalista, it’s main Developer is from the UK, living in Greece. I guess the rest of the Team all from all over. I’m not a developer, just a contributor, and I’m from Portugal. People that help translate antiX to their language are literaly from all over the world… Brazil, African coutries, etc.

::Grup Yorum is indeed a Turkish group. As I understand it, they are fighting for political freedom in the home country. All of the names of the antiX versions are tributes to people who fought against political repression. I believe it was the previous version which was named after Manolis Glezos, who was part of the Greek resistance during WWII. Then there was Marielle Franco, a Brazilian who fought against police brutality. I learned a lot of interesting things studying these names.

::Wow, this distribution has a long history behind.
Thank you mate!Bye-bye! (I don’t want to use always the same words at the end: “regards”, “greetings”, hehe. I had thought “see ya”, but it sounds kinda weird. XD)

::Thank you Marcelo. No problem. The truth is that in the past, or some/many years ago, I was a disaster reading/writing and above all speaking english.
Well, it happens that once I made a website on facebook about metal music, and I had a “partner”. Well, he was Slovak, and I was also in music groups where due all of they were/are from different countries, the only way was to write in English. There I met a French woman (I learned French as a child but I don’t remember anything), an Icelandic woman, and other people, even from Malaysia. And I spoke as I could. Obviously they had an excelent level of English.
In fact, some of they spoke several languages. And when I put a Polish Linux distribution (some will know which one I mean) the administrators very kindly answered my questions also in English, obviously. I don’t know nothing of polish. Well, and seeing pages of memes and comments in English or also on YouTube, all that made me progress a lot (simply: with practice). However many words I don’t know them or I forget them easily and I have to search for them in google translate.
Sometimes google translate, translates badly, but I know where I have to correct it to make it as real as possible. So there’s no problem. I admire how Brazilians can speak Spanish so easily and on the other hand, I mean: an Argentine, Uruguayan, Chilean, Spanish or wherever that speak Spanish may find it much more difficult to speak Brazilian Portuguese.
I don’t know, maybe it’s my imagination. But I hear brazilians speak Spanish very fluently and that is not their native language, of course.
Well, thanks for everything and good morning. Greetings.(sorry for extending myself so long)

::AntiX Greek roots are very interesting and its influence had spread world-wide.
I’m not sure, but suspect many ex-pats are living in a small multi-curtural region of Greece. -
