I was wondering what the chipset cut-off is on MX with the
64-bit release on old and new. I have a few pc/laptops that are 64-bit
and wondering which version to download for them?
I posted this here as I’m not on MX forum and realize are closely connected.
what are considered old and new (i3, i7, a4, a10) etc. kernel wise?
If you are asking whether to use the AHS version, the answer is probably no, unless your hardware won’t work with the standard version.
Having said that, during testing the AHS version appeared to work OK with much older hardware than it was intended for.

Do you have a USB key drive? I suggest you download the iso files in question and try them out on a LiveUSB. I would start with the latest 19.1 64-bit.
