      Dear developpers,

      I hope that I will not be bannished from your forum and I’m a little annoyed to tell you that there is a difference between English and French regarding;
      1) Icone “Favorite Applications”,
      2) Applications,
      3) Preferences,
      4) Remove Menu Item,
      5) In the window “Desktop Manager”, Line Location, we can choose;
      -> 1. Application Menu
      or
      -> 2. Desktop Shorcut
      or
      -> 3. Personnal

      But with the French edition, in the window “Desktop Manager”, Line Location, it’s not possible to choose an option.

      Please find the screenshots for comparison.

      Best regards,
      Wallon

        Hmm, looks like the same translation problem as the add-desktop program by converting the .mo files.
        I do not have a transifex account to add the “|” to the translations. Likely this is all that is needed as was the case with add-desktop

          Hello Wallon

          Never ever while participating in antiX bug hunting 🙂 Also, please don’t keep yourself from telling us, even when you only come across a translation you feel to be not naturally sounding for a native speakers ear. I am constantly fixing those things (in german language), since there are quite a lot of them. Only in rare cases they keep the program from functioning at all, as in this case here again, but it is not really what one would call desirable, having badly translated strings on desktop. I hardly can believe this would not be true in other languages also.

          So, thank you very much again, for reporting! This time the string in french transifex wasn’t set to “reviewed” state, so I was able to fix this in no time. We’ll have just to wait now until the change will have made its way into repos again.

          Regards to Belgium

          Windows is like a submarine. Open a window and serious problems will start.

            This is an excellent example of how many people in the community can help to make software a better experience everywhere. Please continue letting us know what can be improved; if you have the skills to make the improvements, inquire about it or post the “fix” to the problem; otherwise share, with as much specific detail as possible, what is “incorrect”. This kind of feedback is *greatly appreciated*.
