Whenever I bring up App Select window the bottom, where the Execute and Close buttons are, are blocked out by the taskbar. I have to right click and select Move to move the window up to select Execute or Close. Is there some way to change the window size so that it ends at the top of the task bar?
I sometimes have that problem- on my netbook that has a small screen. If you maximize the problematic window, it should reorder it’s contents and you’ll probably get to see the intire window. antiX has shortcut keys that make it act like a “pseudo window-tiler”- moving the selected window to the top, the botom, or any corner of the screen, or maximizing it- on antiX IceWM “alt + ctrl + 9” should do it. There’s also a script that memorizes the seletected window position and size, created by a forum user, that you can search here on the forum… to make your selection stick.

Maximize and “alt+ctrl+9” didn’t work for me but if I right click on the window there is a Fullscreen option that will show the buttons on the bottom. It’s not ideal as it covers up the task bar which I would prefer to leave accessible.
I just noticed that if I move the curser off the bottom of the screen then move it back up it lets the task bar appear again. Tapping the window makes it disappear again. I can live with that.
