ControlCenter }}} “Desktop” tab }}} “Edit Fluxbox Settings”

Within the “init” file, change the line
        session.screen0.tab.height: 0
        (specify the value as zero)

Save changes to the edited init file, then restart fluxbox for the change to take effect.

Another, different means of accomplishing same may be available.
Someone might followup to post an alternative “how to”.

For your future reference, you can
        man -k fluxbox
to learn “how to” for most (not all) fluxbox configuration options.

Thanks skidoo. (also I don’t find it helpful if you change the thread theme here to “taste”)
If the green colour has gone to your head here, you just need to let @anti know….

But that didn’t work. However, in the meantime I have found the solution myself.

          The starting point

? To your fellow forum participants and future searchers, what means “Window.”

? Similarly, what does “Fluxbox TAB-Window” mean?

Damned if I changed a topic title, vs damned confusing lift yer leg and piss on the wall (in broken English) result if I don’t.

            okay, fuggit.

              (several minutes later)

Your English is fine. Broken (awkward, unclear, indeterminate) topic titles
like your current topic titled “Forum”, posted under “Site Help” represent an recurrent/ongoing ill behavior.

The choice of words alone disqualifies you!
In every Linux forum in the world, the moderator asks the user to make his thread title more meaningful.
Only skidoo equalizes the power of its water soup.

Your change of topic owing to “babysitting” was
“fluxbox: i enabled display of window “tabs”. Now, how to rid them?”

I love short concise titles like
                windows
                forum

maybe that’s why you can’t handle your “baby lyrics”…
