        Have you tried this?

        install wine

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

              https://wiki.debian.org/Wine#Installing_and_removing_Windows_programs

              or from MX Linux: https://mxlinux.org/wiki/system/wine/

I don’t use wine so do not know if the instructions work or not.

Could also use play on Linux which seems to load separate instances of wine per app automatically. Though I too do not use it anymore.

First install complete Wine HQ, then add Play On Linux … PoL alone didn’t work for me.
PoL has the advantage of being able to manage separate ‘bottles’ and different Wine versions.
Sometimes, older versions work better together with some programs.
PoL also offers good management interface.
                  And … don’t forget Wine-Tricks.

Everything works fine on MX Linux
