I’ve tried some of the usual things to try and resolve. Anyone have any tips?
$ sudo apt-get install -f wine wine32
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:The following packages have unmet dependencies:
wine32:i386 : Depends: libwine:i386 (= 1.8.7-2) but it is not going to be installed

Not sure why you used the force install option either.
What does
sudo apt-get install -fHave to say about this? Since it says broken packages.

::Thanks. No doom and gloom shown there. Which is good. I will wait for others more in tune with packaging get back with you on this.
Edit: Just had a thought. Look in syanptic package manager for any broken packages shown < bottom taskbar >
It should also say zero broken packages. If it says 1 broken. You can use the fix broken package option in synaptic package manager
Top task bar in synaptic
edit > fix broken packages
