While I am a mere amateur at the OS, I can’t help but think it is something simple. Every system check I run shows the wireless adapter. However none of the network config programs show it listed. Also, the OS does not assign it the designator of wlan0 or any other, for that matter. Yet, I know just enough to identify that. Yet, do not have a clue how to repair that.

I was actually able to load the 32 bit of Antix 16 on an older Mac mini and it is running stable. Also, the wireless was recognized without issue.

Well I dont know, the modul is in the kernel, but maybe you need newer firmware.
                  dmesg | grep ath
                  also
                  inxi -Fxz

You maybe should try antiX17.1, it has newer kernel and firmware.

If you are able to download antiX17.1. , I would really recommend you to try this.
                      antiX16 is somehow obsolete version.
It seems antiX16 was brought out before your lenovo was on the market.

                          Hi ku4yp,
Your cpu is 64 bit so that iso version might work better on there.
I had to run ceni on mine and scan to find my wifi router then
type in my password….then on the next screen I put auto instead
of hot plug and now my atheros connects automatically when the kernel boots.
ceni is located under internet in the menu and in the control centre.

                            Linuxdaddy,

I do not see where I have the ability to scan in ceni. Also, it’s not Finding a network, it’s finding the wireless adapter in the machine. I imagine 17.1 will solve my issues. However, wanted to try and also repair this version so reverting back is possible, if needed.

At this point, it’s almost become a quest.

                            Cheers, Red.

does ceni list the wifi card on the first screen?

then the module driver isn’t loaded for some reason open root terminal under the
applications-system tools menu then type “modprobe ath10k_pci” in then see if ceni list it.
