      antiX 17 – set up to automatically connect. I have to go to network settings and connect every time I boot. Is there something else I would need to do?

          Thank you caprea! First option on that post worked – “As root edit the file /etc/default/wicd and change one line to:
          START_DAEMON=yes”.

          I had google-searched and could not find anything that was that clear.

          I appreciate your quick response and good direction.
