      I recently acquired a ASUS Tablet-Model: T100TA-RH11T-CB which is running Windows 8.1. The hardware is 64 bit capable, but the Windows 8.1 is 32 bit. The Windows device manager identifies the Network Adapter as Broadcom 802.11abgn wireless WLAN SD10 adapter. The wireless works fine with Windows 8.1.

      I can run antiX 22 (64 bit) from a live USB, but I do not have wireless:
      inxi -nxxx says “no PCI devise found”.
      Connman does not show any wireless services.

      I need some help to get the wireless operational with antiX Live USB.

      Thank you

          Thank you for the references.
          Since I am a newbie, I do not know what to do with the information.
          Please give me some directions.

          Specific question:
          The tablet is 64 bit, but the Windows 8.1 is 32 bit.
          The antiX live USB that I am using is 64 bit. Should I be using antiX 32 bit or 64 bit or does it matter?

            If the processor is 64bit, I’d try with the 64bit version. As for the wifi problem, you could try loading another kernel at boot to see if it detects the card.

              you could try loading another kernel

              That’s right, and the first thing you should try.If you downloaded the full version, two kernels are available in the advanced options on live boot screen.
              It seems the laptop has a 64bit CPU and a 32bit UEFI, but antiX 64bit is as far as I know capable to handle that.

                Success! I used the 5.10 kernel and now I have Wifi.

                However, I do not have sound, mic, or camera.

                  Took me 2 days of searching internet to get sound working on this chromebook. You need to supply more info by posting the output of the command I just gave. Then I had a lot of command line usage and interpretation by me on my own .

                  harry@antix1:~
                  $ cd UCM
                  harry@antix1:~/UCM
                  $ ls
                  bytcht-da7213   byt-rt5640      sof-bdw-rt5677     sof-cht-bsw-rt5672
                  bytcht-nocodec  cht-bsw-rt5672  sof-bxtda7219max   sof-chtmax98090
                  bytcht-pcm512x  chtmax98090     sof-bxt-pcm512x    sof-chtrt5645
                  bytcr-rt5640    chtnau8824      sof-bytcht-da7213
                  bytcr-rt5651    chtrt5645       sof-bytcr-rt5640
                  byt-max98090    skl_hda_card    sof-bytcr-rt5651

                  That above folder did not exist till I followed the command line steps to enable sound.

                    Great, you can now post an inxi -zv7
                    Did you already try to choose another sound card with control-centre > Hardware > Sound card chooser ?
                    Also look in “Adjust Mixer” if something is muted.

                    Edit:Roky was faster with the inxi command.

                        I tried another sound card but still no sound.
                        I checked Adjust Mixer and there is nothing muted.

                                Last post has the solution. But running live. Any changes will be lost on reboot.

                                I wonder if this command will spit out info on your sound card also

                                lspci -nnk | grep -i -A7 audio

                                  I will try it tomorrow after the tablet gets charged overnight.
