I was not sure yours would spit anything. Figured it was worth a try. Are you going to install this or run a persistent usb drive.
I wonder because the links I provided are done with saved changes.

If I can get the sound, camera, and mic working for video calling, I am wanting to run a persistent usb drive with antiX. If the usb works well, then I may install antiX on the tablet.

Well. The fixes I provided require a reboot to keep the changes. Wonder myself on how you are going to do that running live.

All credit goes to LQ. Posting this here.

I’ll tell you all how I managed to get this monstrous chip working.

              1. Install (or get) firmware-intel-sound (comes with buster/testing).

              2. Magic scripts found on the web allowed me to get this working (select/activate correct switches). Use either speakers (crappy) and/or headphones.
              This is the source: https://github.com/plbossart/UCM/issues/1
And these are the scripts (you’ll need to minimally tweak them). Remember they use amixer.

              3. Pulseaudio? Yes

              edit
              Code:

              /etc/pulse/default.pa

              Add:
              Code:

              load-module module-alsa-sink
              load-module module-alsa-source device=hw:0,0

              Comment out:
              Code:

              ### Automatically load driver modules depending on the hardware available
              #.ifexists module-udev-detect.so
              #load-module module-udev-detect
              #.else
              ### Use the static hardware detection module (for systems that lack udev support)
              #load-module module-detect
              #.endif**

              Source:
              https://github.com/plbossart/UCM/issues/18

              I also blacklisted
              Code:

              snd_hdmi_lpe_audio

because I’m not using it and sometimes it gets the 0 ID.

Hope this helps somebody else with this problem.
PS: Don’t you ever buy this laptop/tablet.

This is an issue which I had not realized.
I am not quite ready to install antiX on the tablet at this time.
So, I am going to abandon the project for now, but may resume it in the future and will need your help then.
                Thanks again
