      Hi guys,

next issue is my wlan on my Toshiba laptop.
I tried to reconfigure it with the Antix network assistant and I ran into the issue shown in the attached screenshot.
So the question is do I have a corrupted wlan config file anywhere on my harddisk which I should delete (or rename)?
I searched in /etc/wpa_supplicant and /run/wpa_supplicant but no luck.

Strange enough I CAN use wlan if I use the wicd app in network control center.
Problem here is the connection is always lost as soon as I reboot my laptop.

Any ideas how I can fix this issue?
      Thank you. 🙂

      Best regards,
      Fonsis

        Have a look again in /run/wpa_supplicant. I have a wlan0 file.
In /run you might have something like this file – wpa_supplicant.wlan0.pid

Both can be deleted, reboot and run ceni again

Philosophers have interpreted the world in many ways; the point is to change it.

antiX with runit - leaner and meaner.

Wlan works again. 🙂 I have disabled all wlan connections manually and run ceni again.

Now there is a another issue, which is a little bit strange.
When I reboot the laptop (or do a cold start) the boot process “stops” while the wlan settings are set up.
It takes around _15 seconds_ until the boot process continues. 😮

In ceni I have chosen dhcp and “built in” devices which I think is correct…

But I have no idea why the wlan upstart stops the boot process and then continues… any idea?

By the way, I have another laptop here which runs Antix 16.
The wlan settings are more or less the same. And it just runs fine. The boot process does not stop while wlan is set up.
It boots within four or five seconds to desktop.

          Best regards,
