It refuses to burn an iso onto a CD-RW disk.

I found this snippet that I hope helps, here: https://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/xfburn

If you see ERROR: “Burn mode is not currently implemented.” – Click the Refresh Button (circle arrow) above the “Speed:” & “Write mode:” boxes.

Obviously, someone else had the same error. (I’ve found xfburn to act a bit “flakey” sometimes, too.)

          Merci Christophe!
I finally found an old-school, ncurses solution using `cdw’. It worked like a charm.
I am noting the solution for _next time_! 🙂

Yes, I had that happen to me, too. Until the selections are made it doesn’t know what to do.

And there’s no way to guess what to do to solve the issue. Needs to be fixed IMHO. Any reliable alternative?

It does work, as is. All you need to do is click the fields and the speed and mode fill in with defaults.

                  Hi dukester,

                  Any reliable alternative?

On this, a lot of linux distros use the package brasero to burn which is available
                  to install on antiX.
