      Hello!!!

I always have have this habit to apply the “75.02 refresh rate” my monitor supports.

But, somehow, xrandr disagrees at the moment. What should I do?

        read this: http://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/how-to-search-for-a-solution-when-you-have-a-antix-problem/
then post post the inxi command output so that prospective helpful souls will know which video card and driver are in use on your system.

            I had to reinstall OS.

Here is the output before launching “antix updater”

            Graphics: Device-1: NVIDIA G73 [GeForce 7300 GT] driver: nouveau v: kernel bus-ID: 01:00.0
                       chip-ID: 10de:0393
                       Device-2: Logitech Webcam C200 type: USB driver: snd-usb-audio,uvcvideo bus-ID: 2-4:4
                       chip-ID: 046d:0802
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.11 driver: loaded: nouveau
                       unloaded: fbdev,modesetting,vesa alternate: nv resolution: 1280x1024~60Hz s-dpi: 96
OpenGL: renderer: NV4B v: 2.1 Mesa 20.3.5 direct render: Yes

It seems “fbdev” “llvmpipe” are the culprit

Also an update during “antix updater” maybe the cause

I have an issue with my laptop when I realized that I can not adjust brightness of the display.

              xrandr -q
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
              Screen 0: minimum 1280 x 800, current 1280 x 800, maximum 1280 x 800
              default connected 1280×800+0+0 0mm x 0mm
              1280×800 0.00*

              inxi -Gxx
Graphics: Device-1: Intel Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics vendor: Acer Incorporated ALI
              driver: N/A bus-ID: 00:02.0 chip-ID: 8086:2a02
Display: x11 server: X.Org 1.20.4 compositor: xfwm4 driver: loaded: vesa

Oddly, this issue does not pop up Antix 21.
