My system is antiX-21 64 bits and I am using a usb wifi adapter. When I try to use zoom with connman, the network slow down the transferring and the ping starts dropping packets, the internet connection becomes horrible and zoom freezes audio and video every few seconds.
I tried to solve de problem in different ways, but nothing work. So I uninstall connman and install Network Manager and zoom work perfectly. Why zoom do not work with connman?Note: as Network Manager don’t has a sysvinit script for debian 11 and uses systemd now, a I need to install orphan-sysvinit-scripts before install Network Manager.

::I cannot answer your question but did you try and have the same experience with ceni?
I am sad to hear you had to resort to Network Manager. Hopefully, someone more familiar with connman/cmst can answser your question.
Also, you may want to provide the output from inxi to provide system details as described in the post found at https://www.antixforum.com/forums/topic/how-to-get-help-with-an-antix-problem/#post-90394.

::I don’t like ceni, so I haven’t tried using it.
The output of the command “sudo inxi -zv7” is in the attached file.Attachments:

::Wow, that CPU must be one of the first Intel 64-bit Pentiums, with the old Allendale 65nm architecture. Very impressive that you can do Zoom meetings with it. I would say that you are probably right at the edge of what that computer can do, and networkmanager somehow gave you an extra boost to make your online meetings more smooth. If it’s working, I see no reason to change anything.
If you were to try cmst again, you could go to the Preferences tab and try checking the “Retry Failed Connection”.
And whether you try cmst or stick with networkmanager, you can try going into your TLP power options in /etc/tlp.conf (edit it as sudo) and under the “USB_AUTOSUSPEND” section make sure your usb wireless card is blacklisted (blacklisting it in USB_AUTOSUSPEND will mean that your computer does NOT try to put the device to sleep). Your wireless card’s USB ID appears to be 0bda:f179, you would add that to the USB Autosuspend blacklist in /etc/tlp.conf so that your blacklist line looks like this:
USB_BLACKLIST=”1111:2222 3333:4444 0bda:f179″
Be sure and uncomment the line by removing the “#” symbol at the beginning. Save and exit your text editor, and I think at that point you may need to reboot your computer for the TLP change to take full efffect.

::@andyprough
Thank very much for the answer. I will blacklist my usb wifi adapter as you explained, however I don’t think that is the problem because the problem happens with connman and not with Network Manager. I will not install connman again because zoom is working now, but I will make a live usb and go to the Preferences tab and try checking the “Retry Failed Connection”. The problem is that my vacation started on November 15th and I only have one zoom meeting to test from January 10th, that’s when my online classes start again.
Anyway, here is the problem I found and the solution, maybe this can help someone who has the same problem. -
